I'm Kristi — a Northern Minnesota photographer, a mom, a foster-puppy softie, and someone who genuinely tears up at the good frames. I built Impressions by Kristi to give local families heirloom-quality portraits without the stiff, uncomfortable studio feeling.
My sessions are relaxed and led by your family's real personality. I'll handle the awkward — where to put your hands, how to wrangle a toddler, when the light is perfect — so you can just be together. The result is images you'll actually print, frame, and pass down.

We meet when the light is at its softest and simply enjoy it. I direct gently, keep things relaxed and fun, and capture the in-between moments you'll love most.
Within two weeks you'll get a beautiful online gallery, ready to download, share, and order heirloom prints and albums right from the page.
Every session includes professional retouching, a private online gallery, and your print release.
Most sessions come in three collections, and the collection is what sets the price. We'll pick the one that fits when we talk.
